and Vector-borne disease program. Responsibilities include
investigations of diseases people acquire from animals:
plague, hantavirus, and rabies. For the last 3 1/2 years,
West Nile virus surveillance and response activities have
become his primary duties.

BS in bacteriology and public health from Washington State
University.

food processing, water supplies, waste water treatment,
food sanitation, and communicable disease investigations
